1 - Choose your flooring
After the measurements have been taken we can provide a quote on any product you wish. We recommend you take home samples of your chosen flooring, or a couple if you are undecided and see how it goes with your decor. It may look different in your home as it does in our shop and we want you to be happy for many years with your choice. Sample books are available in store and you are more than welcome to take as many as you need to help you come to this important decision.
2 - Choose your underlay and door bars
Please see our section on Underlay to get an idea of what we supply and the differences between the prices. For door bars we have a wide choice in store and are included in the price of your new flooring.
3 - Book your date and prepare your room(s)
Once we have agreed on a date all you need to do is prepare your rooms as we have agreed and our fitter will turn up on the day with everything they need to complete the job.
Additional Services
Used to smooth the base flooring in the rooms we are fitting the new carpet or cushion flooring
Plying Service
We offer a ply boarding service used to smooth wooden floors prior to fitting. This is a service we offer on request.
Screed
We sometimes need to smooth out a concrete floor prior to fitting cushion flooring, this is a service we offer on request.
Important Information
The Small Print
As with any business there are some common questions and issues we have faced over the years. We would much prefer to avoid these and find a conversation is by far the best way to iron out any unlikely problems. Here is what we have learnt and would like to share..
Uplift Of Old Flooring:
Before we fit your new flooring it is likely that you will need to uplift your old flooring prior to fitting. For an additional fee we can uplift your old flooring and dispose of it.
Waste Removal:
Whilst fitting your new flooring some waste will be generated. Off cuts of underlay, carpets or cushion flooring. We kindly ask you to dispose of this although for a small additional charge we can take it away. This will be decided upon together when you place your order.
Clearing rooms:
If at all possible we will ask you to clear any room(s) prior to our fitters arriving. However, we understand this isn't always possible so we can send two of our friendly staff to move your furniture but this will come at an additional charge, which we will agree on together.
Fitting Charges:
Fitting must be paid in full direct to our fitter upon completion of any works carried out. Our fitters will require 48 hours notice for any cancellation. If this is not given a charge may apply at the discretion of our fitter.

Used to stick carpet down
Double Sided Tape
Used to stick cushion flooring down
Doorbars & Gripper
Door bars are used to smooth the transition between rooms. Included with our fitting service but also sold separately
Door Bars
We stock many different sizes in both silver and brass
Gripper
We stock Gripper that goes on either wood or concrete, depending on your room(s)
